As part of the CSR consulting column, The Saigon Times and the LIN Center will organize a webinar themed “Corporate Social Responsibility – What is the right practice?” on September 29. 

The webinar is designed to answer questions about corporate social responsibility practices and provide in-depth and practical perspectives on the social responsibility of businesses in the current social context. There, companies may find answers for more effective CSR practices to create a long-lasting impact on society.

The event is set for 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at the Saigon Times office at 35 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, District 1, HCMC.

The webinar’s panelists include Lam Ngoc Thao, executive director of LIN Center for Community Development; Van Ly, partner & general director of RAISE Partners and Pham Huu Chuong, deputy editor-in-chief of the Saigon Times Group.

The event will be streamed live on the Facebook pages of The Saigon Times and LIN Center.

Mr. Pham Huu Chuong is currently Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Times Group, mainly responsible for editing the Group’s two English-language publications – The Saigon Times and The Saigon Times Weekly.
Mr. Huu Chuong earned an M.A. Degree in Journalism in 2009 in the ACFJ Fellowship for the M.A. Journalism program of the Konrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism (ACFJ) at the Ateneo de Manila University.

Ms. Lam Ngoc Thao has more than 12 years of experience in the Non-Profit field. She has participated in undergraduate teaching on corporate finance as well as advising managers of new non-profit organizations on organizational performance management while taking on the role of CEO of LIN Center.

Ms. Van Ly is a partner at Raise Partners, a social and environmental impact consulting practice, with offices in the UK and Vietnam. She has 20+ years of experience working in both the private sector in branding and communications and the nonprofit sector in fundraising, communications, and program management. In particular, she has extensive experience in nonprofit fundraising and program strategy, strategic marketing, communications planning, and delivery, grant writing, corporate social responsibility and citizenship, and donor and stakeholder engagement. She also currently serves as Co-Chair for AmCham Vietnam’s ESG Committee and Interim Board President of Avaaz, the world’s largest global campaigning movement.
